Privacy Policy
This site collects nothing. Here is exactly what that means in practice.

No accounts, no forms, no advertising. Every calculation runs inside your browser and nothing you type is ever transmitted. We do use Google Analytics to count page views — that is the only thing on this site that sends anything to a third party, and it is described in full below.
What we collect
Nothing that identifies you personally. There is no login, no registration, no newsletter signup and no contact form on this site. The only way to reach us is by email or WhatsApp, both of which you initiate.
We do collect aggregate traffic statistics through Google Analytics: which pages are opened, roughly where in the world visitors are, which browser and device they use, and which site or search they arrived from. We use this to decide which states and questions to cover next. We do not attempt to identify individual visitors and we have no way to do so.
The calculator
The converter is entirely client-side. The state ratios are shipped with the page as a small lookup table, and the arithmetic happens in your browser. The numbers you enter are never sent to a server, because there is no server to send them to — the site is a set of static files.
Cookies and local storage
Google Analytics sets its own cookies — typically named _ga and _ga_ followed by a code — which it uses to tell a returning visit from a new one. They expire on their own and carry no name, email or account.
Beyond those, the site sets nothing. We write nothing to local storage or session storage. Your calculator inputs are held in memory for as long as the page is open and are gone when you close the tab.
Opting out of analytics
- Install Google's official browser add-on for Analytics opt-out, which blocks the measurement script everywhere.
- Block cookies for this site in your browser settings, or use private browsing.
- Use a content blocker — this site works completely normally with the analytics script blocked, because none of the tools depend on it.
Third parties
- Google Analytics 4, as described above. Data is processed by Google under its own privacy policy.
- No advertising network, and no advertising on the site.
- No embedded social media widgets or comment systems.
- Fonts are self-hosted and served from this domain — no request is made to a font CDN.
- The footer displays a launch badge served as an image by fazier.com, which sees the request as any image host would.
- Outbound links to the author's social profiles and to WhatsApp go to third-party sites with their own policies. Following them is your choice.
Hosting and server logs
The site is served by a static hosting provider, which — like any web host — records standard request information such as IP address, user agent and requested URL for delivery and security. We do not access those logs to build profiles and we do not combine them with anything else.
If you email us
If you write to gemprogrammersgp@gmail.com, we hold your message for as long as it takes to answer it and to keep a record of any correction you supplied. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not pass your address to anyone.
Children
This site is a reference tool for land measurement and is not directed at children. Since we collect no personal data from anyone, we collect none from children either.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version appears here with a new date. Questions about it can go to the contact page.

Get the right number for your state
A wrong bigha can misprice a plot by half. Select your state, convert in one tap, then confirm the figure with your local land revenue office.
Commonly-cited approximate figure — confirm the exact local value with your state or district land revenue department before any transaction.
